The Health Department offers many services to the community. Some of the additional services that we offer to you and your family are listed below.
The Bullitt County Health Department wants you to know of the Kentucky Women’s Cancer Screening Program (KWCSP). The program provides free or low-cost mammograms and Pap tests through the health department in every county. These services are available every year for women age 21-64 that do not have health insurance to cover the cost. If you are age 20 or under, call you local health department to find out what services are available for you.
The program, part of CDC’s National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, also provides diagnostic services and, if cancer or pre-cancer is found, treatment services are available. For more information, call the Bullitt County Health Department at 543-2415 or 955-7837.
