Safe Sitter® teaches adolescent babysitters how to handle crises, how to keep their charges secure, and how to nurture and guide a young child. In short, Safe Sitter® babysitters help children stay safe and sound while their parents are away. In the process, these 11-to 13-year-olds emerge as more confident, responsible and compassionate teens and adults. The instructors thrive on making a difference in the lives of these adolescents and the children in their care.
Bullitt County Health Department and Bullitt County 4-H Services will hold class on: August 23, 2008 at the Extension Office from 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. Class size is limited to 16, so you must sign up. Class fee is $25 dollars which includes: Safe Sitter Manual, Safe Sitter Bag, Completion Card, Flash-light, Band-aid kit, and any other item the health department gives out. You must be 11 years old by the date of the class.
